The BR/T Scotch Yoke pneumatic actuators are ideal for handling quarter-turn valves like ball, butterfly, or plug valves. They can also efficiently operate louvers, dampers, and other elements requiring a 90-degree rotation. These can be utilized for either on-off or modulating service.
The actuator cleverly uses a robust scotch yoke mechanism to transform the linear movement of the pneumatic cylinder into the required rotary motion for valve operation. The precision-engineered centerbody cover allows for the inclusion of additional elements such as positioners or limit switches, using compatible units.
